Christmas by the Sea Ogunquit MaineALL WEEKEND! - Below is the 2015 Schedule - 2016 should be very similiar

Family Scavenger Hunt And Tour Of The Trees: Go to the map page in the brochure for a list of participants. Drop off your completed card at Ogunquit Camera, or Perkins & Perkins and be entered to win Gift of Ogunquit gift certificates.

Love Four Paws: "The best things in Life" necklace is available for sale at Junebug's Beach House (16 Shore Road, Ogunquit). 100% of the proceeds benefit local rescues. Support animals in need while holiday shopping. It's a win-win! Treats(cookies) served to people and dogs! Anyone who makes a purchase will beentered to win the custom "Maine Love" Holiday ornament. The ornaments handcrafted by a ceramic artist exclusively for us with a red heart over Ogunquit.

Open House: 10am - 4:45pm. Hutchins Antiques(166 Main Street) will host an open house on Saturday and Sunday. Refreshments including apple cider will be available, and Santa will visit occasionally throughout the weekend.

Friday,

7pm: Town Tree Lighting at Veteran's Park (center of town). Join us in caroling and enjoy some warm drinks and cookies. Weather permitting.

7:30-8:30pm: Concert at Ogunquit Baptist Church (157 Shore Road). Dave Peloquin offers this special concert just for Christmas by the Sea. Free admission.

Saturday,

9:30-11am: Visit With Santa upstairs at the Fire Station(School Street). Get there a little early to see Santa arrive by fire engine. Then enjoy a treat and have your photo taken with Santa and pick it up later at Ogunquit Camera Shop.

10am-4pm: Hay Rides at Veteran's Park. $5 per person. Weather permitting.

9:30am-2:30pm: Basement Bazaar downstairs at the Dunaway Center(23 School Street). Can’t figure out what to get for that hard-to-buy-for person? Find a little bit of everything and something for everyone at this bazaar.

10am-3pm: Annual Arts & Crafts Show at the Fire Station on School Street). Proceeds benefit Ogunquit Fire Rescue.

10:30am-1pm: The "Giving Tree" Silent Auction downstairs at the Dunaway Center (23 School Street). Theme-decorated artificial trees have been donated by local businesses and individuals, to be silent auctioned. Be sure to bid on the popular lottery tree! Proceeds go to Hospice of York.

11am-1:30pm: Taste The Season (previously known as Chowderfest) upstairs at the Dunaway Center (23 School Street). Taste a variety of foods (including chowder) from local dining establishments. Beer and wine tastings, too! Bring a donation for our local food pantry or animal shelter.VIP early admission at 11am: $15. 11am- 3pm: Meet The Artist at Abacus Gallery, 213 Main Street. Nationally known calendar artist Dana Heacock will be signing 2015 Abacus calendars. A selection of his artwork will be displayed in the gallery. 207-646-0399

11:30am-3:30pm: Annual Art Sale at Gypsy Sweethearts, 30 Shore Road. Local art by Claire Bigbee, Phyllis Baisen, Colleen Ford, Madeline Hopkins, Susan Levenson. Fine jewelry by Michelle Stivaletta, Lauren Pollara. Metalwork by Max Clayton. Leavitt Theatre Earrings, Ogunquit Soaps, Hand-knit Items, Edibles, Gypsy Sweatshirts and Gift Certificates. Hot Spiced Sangria.

12pm: Ogunquit Ocean Rescue Polar Plunge at the Main Beach. Come support Toys for Tots and cheer on our Ogunquit Ocean Rescue Service as they brave the wintry elements. Members will plunge into the ocean in Polar Bear fashion with the hopes of ensuring a Merry Christmas for all. Please bring unwrapped toys, donations, and plenty of good cheer! Please note -- due to property safety concerns, parking will not be available in the Main Beach Parking Lot after noon on Saturday. Parking will be available at the Lower Lot, on River Road.


1-4pm: Open House at Ogunquit Heritage Museum (Obed's Lane).Holiday decorations, winter paintings, creches and menorahs, plus refreshments.

1:45-2:45pm: Holiday Story Hour (location to be determined).Seasonal stories read to the little ones! Check visitogunquit.org for more details on the location.

2:00-3:00pm: Kids' Ornament And Christmas Card Making downstairs at Ogunquit Baptist Church (157 Shore Road). We’ll bring the supplies; kids bring the creativity! Drop in to make an ornament or card to take home or send to Grandma.

2-5pm: Wine Tasting Village Food Market
(230 Main Street).Featuring great wines for the holidays, with cheese and crackers.

2-5pm: Christmas Parade Entrance of Perkins Cove to Main Beach. Presented by the Village Spirit Committee. Weather permitting.

3-6pm: Wine Tasting Perkins & Perkins Wine & Cheese Shop (478 Main Street). Featuring wines from France that are great for holiday gifts.

4:30pm: Sing-A-Long End of Beach Street. Caroling leading up to the fireworks display! Please note -- due to property safety concerns parking will not be available in the Main Beach Parking Lot after noon on Saturday. Parking will be available at the Lower Lot, on River Road.

5pm: Fireworks! A magnificent fireworks display will be shot from the Main Beach Parking Lot. Please note -- due to property safety concerns, parking will not be available in the Main Beach Parking Lot afternoon on Saturday. Parking will be available at the Lower Lot, on River Road.

6:30pm: Living Manger at Ogunquit Baptist Church (157 Shore Road). Beautifully performed by members of Ogunquit Baptist Church, this living nativity reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas. Weather permitting.

7-8pm: Concert at Ogunquit Baptist Church (157 Shore Road). Come in out of the cold to enjoy some traditional Christmas songs. Free admission.

Sunday,

10am-4pm: Hay Rides at Veteran's Park. $5 per person. Weather permitting.

11am-1pm: Wandering Minstrels through Downtown Ogunquit.

1-4pm: Open House at Ogunquit Heritage Museum (Obed's Lane).Holiday decorations, winter paintings, creches and menorahs, plus refreshments.

2pm: Southern Maine Christmas Parade in Wells. Wells Plaza to Wells Junior High School.
